Helping Students Navigate College

Day One is an annual program that originated in 1988 as, "Young, Black & Gifted". Day One seeks to aid freshman with college tips and networking as they transition from high school to college. The program takes place on the first day of each fall semester at 7:06 p.m.

Program highlights include student panels, Q & A sessions, social hours, featured guests and much more. Past guests have included UGA Career Center consultants, Dean Bill McDonald and Vice President Victor Wilson. Free food is included in the program.
